Air Quality and Emissions 2015 show gains CPD accreditation

AQE 2015 conference and exhibition takes place in Telford from April 22-23

The conference and workshops at the Air Quality and Emissions Show taking place in April have been approved for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), organisers of the event have announced.

According to the organisers, this means the various conference presentations and 50 workshops during the two-day event have been formally recognised for their educational value to professionals involved in air quality.

AQE 2015 organiser Marcus Pattison said: “This is great news for the event because it provides formal recognition of the value of the many learning experiences at AQE 2015 and provides delegates with reassurance that their visit will be educational and informative.”

Details of the conference programme at the show, which runs from April 22-23 at the Telford International Centre, were revealed last month (see airqualitynews.com story) and includes presentations from the likes of E.ON Technologies’ David Graham and Syngenta’s Jonathan Clark.

In common with the previous event in 2013, this year’s show will focus on issues relating to the measurement of stack emissions to air on the first day, and on ambient air quality on the second day.

Running throughout both days, the free walk-in workshops will address topics such as ambient air, stack emissions, occupational safety, nuisance dust, fugitive emissions and boundary monitoring. The workshops will take place within a number of rooms in the exhibition centre.

The event is expected to attract international attendees, including air quality monitoring instrument manufacturers and service providers as well as environmental consultants, regulators, and accreditation and research organisations.

Entry to the exhibition and workshops are free, but payment of £55 per day plus VAT is required to attend the conference sessions. Online registration for AQE 2015 is now open.
