DfT minister discusses clean air zones and scrappage schemes
The government’s minister for roads and local transport, Jesse Norman, has identified clean air zones as an ‘important part’ of the government’s strategy to reduce air pollution in towns and cities in England.
Ride-hailing service provider Uber has announced plans to have all of its drivers in London operate hybrid or fully electric cars by the end of 2019 as part of a ‘clean air’ strategy unveiled today (8 September).
