All eyes were on COP27 as delegates entered Energy Day, a day dedicated to discussions on energy and the transiton to renewables, something which is vital if the ‘implementation summit’ is going to be a success.
COP27 officially opened yesterday in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh, coming at a crucial time when the world is reaching a climate tipping point. Once breached, scientists say global heating will be almost impossible to prevent or control.
