The deadline to enter the National Air Quality Awards has been extended to 10 October, allowing for final submissions before the winners are announced on 10 November.
The event features a packed programme of expert speakers, including Alan Andrews, lawyer at ClientEarth, Adrian Felton, city mobility manager at Volvo and Sani Dimitroulopoulou, senior environmental scientist at Public Health England.
Exploring some of the big issues surrounding air quality, from urban health to implementing an Air Quality Action Plan to new technologies in the car industry, the Conference will bring together industry stakeholders and experts, while the Awards Ceremony recognises the achievements and champions innovation throughout the air quality sector.
Local authorities, businesses, third sector organisations, or individuals can enter the awards, with categories including: Local Authority & Public Sector Air Quality Initiative of the Year, Innovation in Air Quality Technology Sponsored by Mercedes-Benz & Fuso, Vehicle Manufacturer Air Quality Progress Sponsored by Calor, Passenger Transport Air Quality Sponsored by Heathrow Airport and Air Quality Champion.
In order to enter, simply submit a 500 – 750 word summary along with any supporting material you wish to include.
